Robert is the Chief Operating Officer for MAS Advisors, a Managing Director of the firm, and is also part of the Management Committee. He has held a variety of senior marketing and sales management positions in the financial services industry, both domestically and abroad. At Hartford Life, Transamerica and Assurant Group he specialized in the development and growth of non-traditional distribution channels. More recently he was Chief Strategy Officer of one of the country’s largest educational services providers, where he pioneered a multi-national paradigm for high school education providing U.S. high school diploma programs in Spain, Italy, France, Argentina, Chile, Guatemala and Ecuador. He received his BBA in Finance from Florida International University. Securities industry exams passed: S6, S63 & S65.
Rick is the Managing Director and Principal of MAS Advisors. He is Chairman of the Firm’s Management Committee and of the Investment Committee. Mr. Calderon’s advisory work focuses on a variety of market-neutral investment strategies tied to private fund offerings both for US and foreign clients. He concentrates on tax efficient strategies particularly the management of proprietary insurance compliant investment strategies and funds within the separate accounts of private placement variable life insurance and variable annuity companies. He has over 30 years of experience in the delivery of global financial services as a senior executive, legal counsel, and compliance officer with two Fortune 100 multinational firms.
Natalia is Director of Advanced Case Design for MAS Advisors, optimizing tax-efficient investment structures through Private Placement Life and Annuity contracts (PPLI). She has over ten years of experience in the insurance industry, seven of those in the PPLI space. She is a graduate of Florida International University, where she earned a BS in Criminal Justice.
Bridget is MAS Advisors' Director of Portfolio Services and Operations and is the primary contact for our subadvisor and fund partners. She is an integral part of the team with lead responsibility for reporting, due diligence, compliance support, and client relations. Bridget began her career in the not for profit sector before joining the MAS Advisors team. She received her BS in International Business from Northeastern University in Boston and Degree in International Management from the European School of Business in Reutlingen, Germany.
Valeria is the Investment Analyst for MAS Advisors. Valeria is responsible for handling investment account servicing activities, tracking the value of all portfolios, maintaining appropriate business records, and producing analytical reports. She is MAS Advisors' liaison with subadvisors, broker dealers, custodians, and fund administrators. Valeria is a recent graduate of Babson College where she received a BS in Business Administration. She also studied International Finance and Business and International Affairs in Paris, France.
Karl is a Portfolio Manager at MAS Advisors implementing and maintaining discretionary and non-discretionary accounts for institutional clients and select high net worth clients. He acts as the liaison for institutional clients with investment managers, subadvisors, asset allocators and underlying fund managers. Karl holds a BA from SUNY University at Buffalo, MBA from University of Miami and earned the prestigious CFA designation and is a CFA Charter Holder. Securities industry exams passed: Series 24 (Securities Principal), Series 55 (Equity Trader), Series 7 (Registered Representative), Series 63 (Securities Agent State Law). Karl is an adjunct professor at Florida International University (FIU), teaching a curriculum on finance with a focus on derivatives to the Executive MBA class at FIU.
Bob has over 40 years of experience in financial planning and investment management. Since 1981, he has worked with business owners and family-owned businesses around the country, advising them in the areas of estate planning, business succession planning and investment management. Bob has been a speaker at several National Conventions (Hawaiian Tax Institute, NADA, OFDA & NEOCON) on a variety of topics related to his areas of expertise. In addition, he has written articles for different industry trade journals and is currently featured in the book “Life Insurance - How to Use It to Your Clients’ Advantage” which is available through AICPA. Bob is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He holds the respected Certified Financial Planner™ designation as well as Series 7 and 63 FINRA certifications.
Christophe is Chief Information Officer for MAS Advisors. He is responsible for the IT systems, systems architecture and IT security. Early in his career, Christophe was a Program Manager at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington where he was part of the Excel team, designed Office features, supervised the Office security review process and was part of the team that received a U.S. patent. Christophe has a degree in mechanical engineering from École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in Paris, France.
Vivian works as a Client Service Specialist providing administrative and reporting support. She has worked in the life insurance business for over 20 years, both with US and Bermuda based insurance companies, primarily with life insurance, annuities and preferred share products. For the last eight years, Vivian has focused in the field of client service. Previously, she specialized in the insurance software industry for many years, so, she's owned her skills across many of the different aspects of the insurance business. She is a graduate from the University of Miami with a BS degree in Computer Science.
Pablo is an Investment Analyst responsible for preparing detailed analytics to support the investment research and due diligence functions of the firm. For the past 13 years he has been working in Project Development, most notably in global tunneling projects ranging from the OCIT tunnel in Columbus, Ohio, the Fortaleza Metro in Brazil, the Devoll Power Plant in Albania, and the Alto Maipo Hydropower Plant in Chile. He started his career as a Project Manager at Herrenknecht AG in Germany, later became a Senior Project Manager at the Robbins Company in Cleveland, Ohio, and most recently, was the Managing Director of Protun Solutions. Pablo earned a bachelor’s degree in robotics engineering form Instituto Politecnico Nacional de Mexico

Charlie is deeply committed to ethically guiding his clients through the maze of long-term investing and financial planning. Forty years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial services have given him valuable insight into the challenges faced by higher net worth individuals and families. Wealth Strategies Group became part of MAS Advisors in 2019 in order to expand its client offerings and enhance tax-efficient investing strategies. Charlie is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
His prior experience includes Due Diligence Officer at Morgan Keegan in Memphis, founding Jaffe Auerbach Advisory Group as a Revenue Agent, Audit Reviewer, and Appellate Conferee with the IRS.

Joy joined WSG (now part of MAS Advisors) in 2003 as an Administrative Assistant and has since assumed the role of Client Services Associate and Operations Manager. In her current role, Joy is a dedicated liaison between our advisors and clients where she provides a broad range of support including facilitating client inquiries. She works with our clients to both gather new account documentation and to update existing account information and records.
Prior to joining WSG, Joy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Teacher Education and pursued a career as a teacher and private school administrator. Her supportive approach and attention to detail helps ensure that our clients receive the high-quality, personable service they have come to expect from our team.
Bruce joined WSG (now part of MAS Advisors) in April of 2015, specializing in financial and tax planning for business owners, executives, and retirees. Bruce left his ten year tenure with FedEx Express as Senior Financial Analyst in 2012 to pursue a career in financial planning with UBS Wealth Management.
After three years of success applying a financial planning approach to money management, Bruce made the decision to join WSG. His motivation was the same as the co-founders – to move from a traditional firm to a one that favors a more personalized, unbiased approach to investment advice.
As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Bruce brings his initiative and ingenuity to help create customized plans for individual and business clients.
Brenda joined our growing team in 2012 to further support our client service efforts. As our newest Administrative Assistant, her responsibilities include client communication, scheduling, contact database management, document archiving and administration of general office procedures. Her maturity and warm personality are traits both our team and our clients appreciate.
Outside of work, Brenda enjoys spending time with family and involvement in church activities.
Mr. Stamps joined Wealth Strategies Group as an advisor in November of 2015, specializing in financial planning and portfolio management. After a successful career in the medical device industry working for both a Fortune 500 company as well as a venture-backed startup, he chose to follow his passion of helping others achieve financial independence and pursued a career in the financial services industry beginning in 2010. Mr. Stamps works with clients to develop a comprehensive, personalized financial plan to bring clarity to what is important, protect what has been accumulated and grow for what is needed for the future. He has previously served on the boards for the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business and Memphis Entrepreneurship Academy.
Andrew is a Wealth Manager with MAS Advisors and is leading the Kansas City office. He spent the first 10 years of his career in Corporate Finance, and then 6 years working at a major Financial Services broker dealer. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, and focuses his efforts on advising clients with a high level of customer service and achievement of client investment goals. Additionally, he has the unique capability of working with small business owners on non-traditional wealth building strategies, including capital raises through exit strategies. Andrew's investment philosophy is centered around ensuring liquidity, reducing volatility, and providing a high level of financial planning capabilities through advanced investment management, insurance, and estate planning strategies.
